It’s been a busy 24 hours for Sevyn Streeter. The Florida-born diva conquered The Arsenio Hall Show last night (March 10) with a brilliant performance of breakthrough hit “It Won’t Stop” and unveiled a remix of new Call Me Crazy, But… single “Next” featuring Kid Ink this morning.

When we spoke to the gun songwriter (she wrote Ariana Grande‘s “The Way” and Tamar Braxton‘s “All The Way Home” among other hits) about “Next” last year she admitted that “her ex-boyfriend had indeed become her next boyfriend” once or twice in real life.

Sevyn contemplates on/off relationships on the mellow mid-tempo R&B groove, while the “Show Me” rapper does his thing on the intro and delivers a typically smooth verse. These two sound really good together and this version of “Next” will, no doubt, be shown a lot of love from urban radio. Listen after the jump.

Should Sevyn release this version as the single or stick with the original? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
