Cher Lloyd’s “Sirens”: Hear The Lead Single From ‘Sorry I’m Late’
A few days after announcing her sophomore album Sorry I’m Late (out May 27), Cher Lloyd has premiered the LP’s lead single, “Sirens.” It’s a driving midtempo anthem, and we think all her impatient stans (who inspired the album’s title) will find it was completely worth the wait.
The production is pretty standard pop fare, with a few hints of electronics whooshing in and out, but everything evaporates for the first bars of its truly triumphant chorus, before it all swoops back in to lift the vocals even higher. The swagger jagger is definitely back.
