Lady Gaga Unveils Stage Design For artRAVE: ARTPOP Ball Tour
Lady Gaga‘s first tour since injuring her hip during the Born This Way Ball is less than two months away, and last night (March 17) she unveiled the stage design for artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball Tour. The main stage has a giant screen backdrop, and a central white structure reminiscent of her ARTPOP album launch palette. A runway extends into the pit, leading into two smaller stages, and from the mockup the extensions and joints have a real insect feel.
“The stage is lucite and you can just dance underneath the runways,” Gaga tweeted, indicating the material is translucent, the better for seeing the vomit. Head below to see the stage design and Gaga’s tweets.
