Diddy Brings Back Puff Daddy Moniker, Teases New Album ‘MMM’: Watch

Diddy, the artist formerly known as Puff Daddy, is now apparently going by the moniker Puff Daddy again, ahead of the release of his next album MMM. Just don’t call it a name change: the man himself tweeted, “For the record, I did not change my name. I always have been and always will be PUFF DADDY! :).” Sure!

Anyway, MMM is the Bad Boy/Revolt mogul’s first release since 2010’s underrated Last Train To Paris as Diddy-Dirty Money, and it’s his first solo effort since 2006. As part of the announcement, Puffy has released a trailer for the lead single, “Big Homie,” and both the song and trailer feature Rick Ross and French Montana. For the clip, there are some quiet piano notes playing under shots of the guys in slo-mo, before a huge trap beat drops and Diddy raps in a plush fur coat.

“Big Homie” is out March 31, and the album doesn’t have a date yet. Check out the trailer up top, and see Puff’s tweets below.
