R. Kelly Takes It To The Disco On DJ Cassidy’s “Make The World Go Round”: Listen
After conquering the dance floor with retro-flavored Robin Thicke and Jessie J collaboration “Calling All Hearts”, DJ Cassidy returns with the second taste of debut LP Paradise Royale — and it’s another winner. This time, the rising producer calls on R.Kelly for vocal duties and they deliver a delirious disco anthem that is equal parts Chic and late ’70s Michael Jackson.
“Whenever I get weak and lose my will to carry on, I just look at you ’cause you give me the reason to be strong,” the veteran R&B singer croons over a throbbing bassline and jaunty percussion. He then celebrates his special lady by singing her praises in the soaring chorus, declaring: “it’s people like you that make the world go round”. Get your groove on after the jump.
