Sam Smith Is Adorably Awkward In His ‘SNL’ Promos With Louis CK: Watch
Sam Smith is still adjusting to this pop stardom thing, and that is on full display in the promos for the March 29 episode of Saturday Night Live hosted by Louis CK. Smith can hardly keep a straight face as CK and cast member Nasim Pedrad go through the bits, and he frequently glances down at his shows — you can just imagine Smith shuffling his feet and thinking, “stay on your mark, stay on your mark, don’t look at the camera” the whole time. It’s pretty endearing!
Of course, once the “Stay WIth Me” singer gets behind that microphone and unleashes that soulful wail of his, he’ll probably seem like an old pro.
