Internet mashup artist Chambaland has struck gold, melding the unlikely pairing of Chvrches and Rihanna for the perfectly titled “The Umbrella We Share.” The mashup uses the chipper synth arrangement of the Glasgow trio’s “The Mother We Share” to underpin RiRi’s “Umbrella” vocals, making for a juxtaposition so odd that it ends up being alluring.
