Lana Del Rey Announces New Single, Confirms “Meet Me In The Pale Moonlight” Is Old

Lana Del Rey took to Twitter to announce the first single off Ultraviolence is called “West Coast,” and she cleared up the origin of the disco-flavored “Meet Me In The Pale Moonlight” in the process (as suspected with every “new” Lana leak and demo that pops up, it is very not new).

Lana responded last night (April 3) to a tweet from Prefix Magazine that stated “Pale Moonlight” is a B-side from her forthcoming LP, stating, “wrote that for someone else 4 years ago… New single is called West Coast.” She then posted a pair of black-and-white images with the caption “West Coast,” with no other information.
