Michelle Williams and Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd visited Good Morning America to reveal their summer plans: They, along with JC Chasez, will star in the latest production of Jesus Christ Superstar. The 50-plus date U.S. tour begins in New Orleans on July 9, as it marks the Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber rock musical’s return to arena settings.

“When I heard Jesus Christ Superstar was coming to the States, I was excited at the idea to be a part of telling one of the most influential stories in history through the scope of such a talented composer, Andrew Lloyd Webber,” Chasez said in a statement. He appears as Pontius Pilate, Boyd plays Judas Iscariot while Williams stars as Mary Magdalene. John Lydon, better known as the Sex Pistols‘ Johnny Rotten, stars as King Herod.

Williams and Boyd’s announcement is timely – earlier this week, the hashtag #PoorMichelle started trending again after its related Tumblr was founded a year prior, to catalog “all the times Michelle got the short end of the Destiny’s Child stick.” Watch Williams and Boyd perform the titular song on GMA up top for a preview of what to expect, then see Williams’ response to #PoorMichelle after the jump.
