Madonna’s $2,545 Bra Stolen From A Photo Shoot

A $2,545 Italian lace bra went missing after a Madonna photo shoot in New York – and in response, the designer has turned to police. Employees of designer Deborah Marquit say that Marquit loaned 34 pieces of pricey lingerie to last month’s shoot for men’s boutique L’uomo Vogue and only received 13 back. “Deborah would just like the samples found and returned,” a rep said to Pret-a-Reporter.

Other missing pieces include a $345 thong and a $515 brief, which were stowed under a chair and then stolen later that day, Marquitt staffers said to NYPD.

Marquit’s lingerie has been worn by Britney Spears, Rihanna and Paris Hilton. According to Marquitt’s official site, Madonna has worn the designer’s vinyl bras on several occasions, including for an Esquire cover shoot. Such bras, which are made to order and feature a plush underside, are now priced at $250 each. A rep for Madonna has yet to comment on the incident.
