Rihanna & Eminem To Perform “The Monster” At 2014 MTV Movie Awards For Some Reason
Eminem and Rihanna are linking up at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards for the debut performance of their hit collaboration “The Monster,” off Slim Shady’s MMLP2. While there’s no apparent connection to anything in cinema beyond the fact that, like, some movies have like monsters and stuff, the stint is timed to give fans a preview of Em and RiRi’s upcoming Monster Tour, which kicks off August 7.
The two stars join an increasingly music-focused MTV Movie Awards roster, with Ellie Goulding and Zedd scheduled to perform a pair of Divergent tracks, plus a performance from twenty one pilots.
The 2014 MTV Movie Awards air Sunday (April 13) at 9 p.m. ET.
