The Ready Set’s “Higher” Lyric Video’: Idolator Premiere
When he’s not hitting the stage, paying tribute to Taylor Swift and modeling hip attire, The Ready Set‘s Jordan Witzigreuter is, of course, putting together new music. Case in point: the one-man band’s upcoming third LP The Bad & The Better (pre-order on iTunes), which is due out May 27. Ian Kirkpatrick produced the 14 tracks on the album, including the previously-released “Give Me Your Hand .” Ahead of that, Idolator is premiering the album’s official lead single, “Higher.”
Jordan tells us the following about the track: “‘Higher’ is about climbing out of the dark place; and the idea that you have the power in your mind to overcome anything life can throw at you. The realization of that can be a really liberating thing and a huge weight off of your shoulders. Everything is as real as you make it.”
