OutKast has added yet another date to its 40-plus date festival tour: June 28, at this year’s three-day BET Experience in Los Angeles. The Atlanta hip hop duo will headline and perform alongside current chart heavyweights Rick Ross, A$AP Rocky and K. Michelle.

BET Experience, the network’s answer to radio festivals like Hot 97’s Summer Jam, kicks off June 27 with performances by Future and an R&B all-star roster: Maxwell, Jill Scott, Marsha Ambrosius and Candice Glover. The Roots will perform the following night with “special guests.” while Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson and Trey Songz will help close the festival. And, in a move that surprisingly hasn’t been done yet, DJ Khaled will host.

BET’s news also arrives shortly after OutKast answered to critics with its second weekend set at Coachella. Reviews say that with renewed energy from Andre 3000, “Hey Ya!” moved higher up in the setlist and enough time for Killer Mike to join the duo for “The Whole World” this time (he was cut off the first go-round), Big Boi had more than enough reason to curse out the haters for his curtain call.
