Kylie Minogue Previews “Crystallize” On Instagram: Listen To A Snippet Of The Shimmery Club Anthem

Another day, another great Kylie Minogue anthem that was omitted from Kiss Me Once. “Golden Boy” was released on limited edition 7″ vinyl yesterday (April 20) to celebrate Record Store Day and today the pop icon teased a brief snippet of “Crystallize”, which she is releasing in May to raise money for her One Note Against Cancer campaign.

The concept is fascinating. Fans can bid on one of the 4408 notes contained in “Crystallize” via eBay and the winners will get their names included in the song’s video credits as well as a certificate of ownership and the satisfaction of knowing they helped a great cause. As for the song? It sounds like an absolute winner.

Co-written by Dev Hynes and Scissor Sisters‘ sex symbol Babydaddy, the charity single sounds like a light and airy club anthem that wouldn’t sound out of place on the diva’s iconic Fever album. Her breathy vocal (“you only have to turn my way”) is cradled by sexy synths that beckon you to the dance floor. It’s a mystery why two of the best songs from the Kiss Me Once era got the chop but you will soon be able to make one hell of an iTunes playlist. Listen to a snippet after the jump.
