Pharrell’s “Marilyn Monroe” Video: Watch

Pharrell has dropped a video for G I R L opening track “Marilyn Monroe.” He sings, “I just want a different girl,” and in the video, he certainly gets his wish. It starts with Pharrell going in to embrace some beautiful goddess, only to see her vanish just before he wakes up from a dream — but then the remainder of the reality-based visual is more like a fantasy, as he’s surrounded by dozens of women dancing to the orchestral funk number in what basically amounts to an ode to the manic pixie dream girl.

There’s also an appearance from the purple-coiffed Kelly Osbourne, who is featured briefly on the track and has struck Pharrell with cupid’s arrow in the visual. Check it out up top.
