Ariana Grande’s “Problem”: Listen To The Iggy Azalea-Assisted Finished Studio Version

After a flurry of mysterious tweets and a 10-day social media countdown, Ariana Grande‘s much-hyped “Problem” finally arrived on iTunes tonight (April 27). The pint-sized diva debuted the Iggy Azalea-assisted single a couple of hours earlier with a fun and flirty live performance at the 2014 Radio Disney Music Awards.

The reaction to the song has been overwhelmingly positive with fans and critics agreeing that “Problem” represents a welcome change of pace for the ballad-favoring songbird. Built around a sax sample that owes a significant debt to Jason Derulo‘s “Talk Dirty”, the high-profile collaboration isn’t particularly original but it is catchy.

“Head in the clouds got no weight on my shoulders, I should be wiser and realize that I’ve got one less problem without ya,” wails Ari in the blockbuster chorus, while Iggy steps in to lend the fiery kiss-off anthem even more attitude. “I got 99 problems but you won’t be one” is her blunt summation of the situation. Time will tell if “Problem” is another mega-hit like “The Way,” but it’s off to an exceedingly good start. The single reached the iTunes top five on pre-orders alone. Listen after the jump.

Fun fact: the dude whispering is Big Sean!
