Elizabeth Rose’s “Sensibility” (Togetherness Remix): Idolator Premiere

Sydney songbird Elizabeth Rose is currently on the road in North America promoting her self-titled EP — she’s doing no less than three shows in the NYC area in the coming week — and now her track “Sensibility” has been been given a fun, electro overhaul by Togetherness, aka Ross Clark and Nicky Paul of St. Lucia. Today Idolator is premiering the remix.

“I’m a big fan of St. Lucia and was excited to hear that Nick and Ross, producing under their Togetherness moniker, offered to remix ‘Sensibility’,” Rose tells Idolator. “As expected, it’s killer! They’ve put their own spin on the track and brought with it energy and drive.”

Ross Clark elaborated further on Togetherness’  take on the the song:

“It was obvious from the first listen of ‘Sensibility’ that Elizabeth is an extremely talented musician/writer. All of the melodies are so strong that we had a good idea of how we would remix it when we started. It’s not often that we sit down with a tune and feel so immediately inspired. The ‘Noir Pop’ attitude of the remix came as a natural reaction to juxtapose her original R&B driven aesthetic. The end result was a remix that we felt stretched the natural composition of the tune but still kept the integrity of the original intact. This track was an absolute pleasure to work on.”
