Rick Ross & Lil Wayne’s “Thug Cry” Video: Watch
Rick Ross continues churning out videos for Mastermind songs, and the latest is for his Lil Wayne joint “Thug Cry,” directed by his go-to collaborator Dre Films. And unlike his weak, Jay Z-less “The Devil Is A Lie” video, Ross actually got his guest to appear in the visual this time, though Weezy never actually appears in the same shot as Rozay.
The clip follows a loose narrative of an incarcerated man on his release day, played by The Wire‘s Wood Harris. Rozay presumably served as a consultant on the prison scenes to ensure they were realistic, seeing as how he’s a former corrections officer.
