Shakira Brings The Party To Lisbon In “Dare (La La La)”: Watch Both Versions Of The Video
Shakira‘s “Dare (La La La)” video finally arrived today (May 7) — two years after it was filmed in Lisbon. The epic Dr.Luke production was originally pegged as the lead single from Colombian superstar’s self-titled opus but was put on hold when she became pregnant and ultimately passed over in favor of Rihanna duet “Can’t Remember To Forget You”.
The video begins in a typical Shakira fashion — an exotic location, bizarre dance moves and her now trademark stroll through a field — before descending into more standard music video fare. There’s a street party and plenty of crowd scenes to distract from the diva’s pregnant belly. It suits the song’s carnival flavor and there’s even a Spanish version of the video for Latin fans after the jump.
