Katy Perry To Give Debut TV Performance Of “Birthday” At 2014 Billboard Music Awards
Katy Perry has been added to the star-studded list of performers at this year’s Billboard Music Awards. The superstar will treat viewers to the first television performance of “Birthday,” via satellite during Sunday’s broadcast. So while she won’t be there in person, we’ll get to see a bit of her Prismatic World Tour in action that isn’t fan video.
Perry is up for three awards, and she joins previously announced performers Iggy Azalea, Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull, Lorde, Jason Derulo, Imagine Dragons and more.
The 2014 Billboard Music Awards air live from the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. For more on the nominees (er, finalists) head here.
