From “Vision Of Love” To “Thirsty”, Mariah Carey’s 16 Best Single Covers

Mariah Carey breathed new life into her Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse album campaign by dropping “Thirsty” earlier this week. The super catchy club banger not only hit the spot musically, it also delivered yet another piece of visual art in the form of a sexy, sassy and possibly CGI-generated single cover. It’s outrageous and completely over-the-top. In other words, vintage Mimi.

That got me thinking about all the amazing single covers that went before it. Who can forget the microphone stand-grabbing drama of “Vision Of Love” or the quirky wet seal styling of “Obsessed”? Mariah’s more-is-more approach to artwork deserves its own coffee table book but until that happens, find my 16 favorite Mimi covers up top.
