Robyn & Röyksopp’s “Sayit” Video Might Give You A Headache, But It Is Very Cool

Robyn and Röyksopp have premiered the intense video for “Sayit,” off their collaborative mini-album Do It Again (out May 26). The song is a less poppy offering than the title track, with the Norwegian duo’s burrowing synth beat at the forefront as the girl and the robot trade spoken vocals. But even with Robyn’s presence minimized here, she’s no less crucial to the song, and the whole thing is no less captivating.

The black-and-white video was directed by Sandberg & Timonen and Kacper Kasprzyk. It features Robyn in the angular white getup from the album’s cover, and the visual comprises an assault of loops, digital disintegration and dog barks timed to the beat. Check it out up top.
