Little Daylight Dial It Back On “Love Stories”: Listen
Brooklyn’s Little Daylight today premiered “Love Stories,” a slow-burning ballad off their debut Hello Memory (out July 15). This is the most subdued offering we’ve heard from the band, but there’s still a lot to admire. To this point, they’ve made their mark constructing exuberant melodies over a crescendo of future-pop sounds, but this cut proves they can just as ably work with empty space to create an airy, unfurling atmosphere.
