Lana Del Rey’s “West Coast” Gets An Orchestral Remix Courtesy Of Dan Heath: Listen

Last week Lana Del Rey shared four “West Coast” remixes but she was obviously saving the best for last. Today (May 20), the moody diva unveiled an orchestral mix courtesy of “Blue Jeans” producer Dan Heath and it’s an essential component of any respectable LDR playlist. Particularly if you’re looking for an eerie, string-soaked interlude between “Young & Beautiful” and “Born To Die”.

After debuting her new single at Coachella, Lana has taken a fairly subdued approach to promotion. The 27-year-old hit the road immediately, forgoing the usual route of television performances and magazine covers. Not that it’s done anything to diminish the buzz around Ultraviolence, which is expected to drop in mid-June. Take a listen to Dan’s beautiful “West Coast” overhaul after the jump.
