Lana Del Rey’s ‘Intro’ Magazine Shoot Is Completely Comprised Of Unfiltered Selfies: 4 Pics

Lana Del Rey confirms her status as the coolest woman on the planet by covering ultra-hip German street press rag Intro with an unfiltered selfie. Not only that but the entire six-page spread is comprised of the superstar’s decidedly unglamorous self-portraits without so much as a Valencia filter to give her a little color! Think of this as the “West Coast” diva’s extremely endearing dalliance with normcore.

The no-frills pictures find the 27-year-old rocking baseball caps, eating an ice cream and lying on the end of (what appears to be) a hotel bed. She looks gorgeous and just became twice as relatable to fans. As for the interview, Lana accepts Tropico‘s bad reviews and reveals that Ultraviolence was recorded in six weeks. She also talks about her evolution from Elizabeth Grant to LDR: “when I was young I often asked myself if I would one day have the courage to change my name and become to creative director of my own life.” See the pics after the jump.
