Since recent photos officially proved that Hilary Duff has, in fact, been working with UK singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran on a brand new album, it seems only fitting that the star has announced that she’s gearing up to re-enter the world of TV since her iconic Lizzie McGuire glory days. Teaming up with the likes of Tony-Award-winning Broadway star Sutton Foster and Sex & The City creator Darren Star, Hil is scheduled to star in new comedy series, Younger, premiering on TV Land next January.

From what we know, the TV series is about a single 40-year-old-mom (played by Sutton) who pretends to be 26 in order to enter the work force again and start fresh. According to PopDust, “Hillary plays a ‘smart and sassy, sophisticated NYC girl” who befriends her at work, but is unaware that she’s lying about her age.”

The show is set to begin filming this coming September.
