Forbes is giving props to the ladies in its annual list of the 100 Most Powerful Women In The World. And while several obvious politicians make the cut — German Chancellor Angela Merkel is at #1, while former Secretary Of State Hillary Clinton and First Lady Michelle Obama are also in the Top 10 — “Drunk In Love” pop diva Beyonce soars in at #17, while sometimes-Voice coach Shakira makes an appearance at #58 and Reverse Warholian ARTPOP songbird Lady Gaga pops up at #67.

Forbes says the following of Beyonce:

The 32-year-old superstar capped off a banner year that included singing for the president, performing at the Super Bowl, and headlining the most profitable tour of the year by shocking the world with a surprise “visual album” in December.

Last year Gaga topped Forbes‘ separate list of Most Powerful Musicians, while Beyonce was the runner-up. Meanwhile, the publication, clearly smitten with Queen Bey, put her and husband Jay Z at the top of their 2012 Power Couples tally.
