Psy‘s “Gangnam Style” has become the first YouTube video to hit 2 billion views. The South Korean rapper’s breakout hit was viewed nearly 100 million times this year alone, after initially going viral in summer 2012. And as it caught on, the video has also helped boost viewership for K-pop videos in general, from around 700 million in 2010 to more than 5.5 billion in 2013.

Perhaps the same will happen with Psy’s new song, too. He will debut the video for “Hangover” on June 8 during Jimmy Kimmel Live before it makes its worldwide premiere the next day, as his label YG Entertainment confirmed to allkpop. Until then, be sure to check out how YouTube’s noting his “Gangnam Style” milestone: Pull up the video, then click on either of the dancing Psy icons next to the word count. What you’ll see are a bunch of dancing icons, forming the words “2 billion” in Korean (hanguk-mal).
