SecondCity’s “I Wanna Feel” Tops UK Chart With The Aid Of A Toni Braxton Sample: Watch The Video

The revolving door of top notch, ’90s-sounding house tracks topping the UK singles chart in 2014 continues this week with “I Wanna Feel,” a cut by Chicago-born, UK-raised musician SecondCity (real name: Rowan John). Like Duke Dumont‘s recent #1 hit across the pond “I Got You,” which borrows its vocal from Whitney Houston‘s “My Love Is Your Love,” and Sigma‘s British chart topper “Nobody To Love,” a track that similarly samples Kanye West‘s “Bound 2,” SecondCity infuses his own dance track with a portion of Toni Braxton‘s vocals from her 1996 hit “You’re Makin’ Me High.”

Give the cute video for SecondCity’s “I Wanna Feel” a watch above (and, if you like what you hear, you can purchase on US iTunes). Then jump back in time by catching the visual for Toni’s original below.
