Lily Allen Releases “Bass Like Home”: Listen To Her Unofficial 2014 World Cup Anthem

In gearing up for the World Cup 2014 in Brazil, artists such as Shakira and Pitbull have put out their separate football-inspired anthems for this year’s festivities. Now, English songstress Lily Allen has also joined their ranks with track “Bass Like Home.” Well, unofficially, really, but could we have expected anything less from the Sheezus pop star?

While “Bass Like Home” doesn’t actually reference anything football or even World-Cup oriented, Lily shows love for England by making references to classic British icons such as the Queen, John Lennon, William Shakespeare and even former English Newcastle United player Paul Gascoigne. And with its infectious 90’s house beat and Allen’s deceivingly sweet voice, maybe it should be an “official” World Cup Anthem after all.

Give it a spin (or five) down below.
