Beyonce’s “Pretty Hurts” Gets A Soaring Electro-House Remix From R3hab: Listen
Nothing beats a killer dance remix of a big ballad as R3hab proves by transforming Beyonce‘s “Pretty Hurts” into a soaring electro-house anthem. The Dutch DJ eases you into the genre switch with sad synths before pulling the trigger with a deluge of hard beats. He also throws in a killer drop and keeps enough of the chorus/vocal to appeal to pop fans. It’s on-point from beginning to end.
There’s no reason why this remix couldn’t be sent to radio as a summer-friendly alternative to the original. That ploy worked wonders for Lana Del Rey‘s “Summertime Sadness” (the Cedric Gervais reboot helped the song go top 10) and was also an essential part of John Legend‘s “All Of Me” campaign.
