Birdy’s Beautiful ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ Ballad Gets A Simple But Moving Video: Watch “Tee Shirt”
Birdy is slowly but surely gathering momentum in the US. The 18-year-old’s recent tour with Christina Perri has seen 2011 (!!) single “Skinny Love” steadily climbing iTunes and she has not one but two songs on the soundtrack of The Fault In Our Stars, which is shaping up to be one of the biggest movies of the summer.
Today (June 6) the Brit unveiled the video for simple, stripped-back ballad “Tee Shirt” and it’s mostly comprised of touching moments from the blockbuster tearjerker. Those scenes are intercut with footage of Birdy performing the song in her bedroom. It’s definitely a no-frills visual but you don’t need anything more when the song is this good. Watch up top.
