Olympic Ayres’ “Control” Single: Idolator Premiere
With the success of their track “Take Flight” earlier this year, Olympic Ayres’ Kamaliza Salamba and Nathan Mifsud seem to truly be kicking their musical careers off on the right foot. Forming in 2011, the Aussie pair began making music in a place where most rising artists, in one way or another, find their inspiration — the bedroom — and landed themselves a gig at the 2013 Sydney’s Field Day alongside some of Australia’s latest heavyweights like Clubfeet, Panama and World’s End Press.
Now the dynamic duo are back with “Control,” an original single featured on their upcoming debut EP, Leisureplex (out September 17). Premiering today on Idolator, the tune’s synth-laden, infectious melody along with Kamaliza and Nathan’s soothing harmonies make it perfect for your summer road-trip soundtrack.
