Beth Ditto Features On Netsky’s “Running Low”: Listen To The Storming EDM Track
Between Gossip‘s last LP, the Brian Higgins-produced A Joyful Noise, and 2011’s fantastic, housey Beth Ditto EP, powerhouse diva Beth Ditto has been flirting with the dance-pop genre in recent years, but has yet to go full-on EDM…until now. Ditto’s vocals feature on “Running Low,” a new single off 25-year-old Belgian producer Netsky‘s upcoming album.
“I’m over-thinking everything, I’m drinking everything, I’m not sleeping, I’m not dreaming,” Beth sings atop Netsky’s building wave of beats and synth squelches, just before the chorus kicks in.
It’s not exactly the type of track that would stand out from the rest of the genre’s fare on its own, but Ditto manages to give “Running Low” a nice injection personality. Give the song a listen below.
