Maroon 5’s “Maps” Teased In Preview Video: Watch

Here’s what we know about so far about Maroon 5‘s upcoming single “Maps”: The song was produced by Benny Blanco, Ryan Tedder and Noel Zancanella (Maroon 5′s “Love Somebody,” OneRepublic‘s “Good Life”), and is scheduled to premiere this coming Monday (June 16). It serves as the lead single from the Adam Levine-fronted band’s fifth album V which will be out September 2.

Now there’s a new video clip courtesy of M5 which truly puts the “tease” in “teaser.” In it we see the band members in the studio cutting “Maps,” while various super-short snippets of the song are all jumbled together into what is best described as a jarring rush of noise. There’s really no indication as to whether this is an up-tempo or a mid-tempo number (or a ballad, for that matter). But the important thing is that Adam appears to still have the blond hair.
