Beyonce’s “Pretty Hurts” Gets A Gorgeous Orchestral Remix From Monsieur Adi: Listen
Beyonce and Monsieur Adi are a match made in musical heaven. The French producer, who served as the official DJ for the European leg of The Mrs. Carter Show world tour, previously the weave-whipping diva’s “XO” and “Blow” euphoric electro-house overhauls but he takes a very different approach with “Pretty Hurts”, which was serviced to radio as the official third single from Bey’s visual album yesterday (June 10).
Instead of ramping up the BPM, Monsieur Adi completely reworks “Pretty Hurts” into an orchestral ballad that not only showcases Beyonce’s heavenly vocals but also allows the Sia-penned ballad’s inspirational message to remain intact.
