Kylie Minogue’s “Waiting 4 The Sun” Surfaces Online: Listen To The Unused ‘Kiss Me Once’ Demo

Kylie Minogue recorded dozens of songs for Kiss Me Once. Unfortunately, some of the most appealing ones didn’t make the album — at least if sublime rejects “Golden Boy” and “Crystallize” are any indication. Adding weight to the suspicion that someone got the tracklist very, very wrong is the arrival of an extremely promising demo called “Waiting 4 The Sun”.

Allegedly produced by Alter Ego (it first appeared on his SoundCloud), Australian DJ Tommy Trash and The Runners, “Waiting 4 The Sun” is a sweeping synth-ballad that finds the iconic diva in a hopeful mood. “I’ll be standing by your side, I’ll be here waiting for the sun to rise,” she declares before a massive electronic breakdown. It sounds unfinished but still packs an epic punch. Listen to Kylie’s latest lost gem after the jump.
