Lana Del Rey Responds To That Disturbing “I Wish I Was Dead Already” Quote: See Her Angry Tweets

Lana Del Rey has finally responded to a couple of disturbing quotes attributed to her in an interview with The Guardian. (She admitted to finding the early deaths of Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse glamorous and allegedly blurted out: “I wish I was dead already!”) She jumped on Twitter this afternoon (June 19) to try and set the record straight with a string of stinging tweets.

“I regret trusting the guardian,” the Ultraviolence vixen tweeted. “I didn’t want to do an interview but the journalist was persistent.” Lana then turns her attention to Alexis Petridis. (Who did not, in fact, write the article). “[He was] masked as a fan but was hiding sinister ambitions and angles. Maybe he’s actually the boring one looking for something interesting to write about,” she continued. “His leading questions about death and persona were calculated.” See her tweets after the jump.

EDIT: Lana quickly deleted her tweets. Also, the author of the original piece was Tim Jonze not Alexis Petridis.
