It’s hard to believe five years have passed since Michael Jackson‘s shocking death from cardiac arrest at age 50. The King of Pop’s father Joseph Jackson marked the sad anniversary today (June 25) by posting a touching tribute on his website. “Not a day goes by when I don’t think of you,” he wrote. “I miss you. Everywhere I go, your music follows me. I hear it in the stores, in the car, on TV.” Here’s where you might need a tissue: “You were a great son and I will always miss you.”

The 85-year-old then revealed that Michael visits him in his sleep. “Time and again in my sleep, my son visits me,” he begins. “When I was laying in bed sleeping, I dreamt he was in the same room as me, standing there and smiling.” Then things get a little supernatural. “I realized I was awake in a dream. He continued singing and his voice echoed out the door.” Read the full post after the jump.
