Beyonce’s “Pretty Hurts” Gets Another Soaring Club Mix, This Time From Tracy Young: Listen
Promotion for “Pretty Hurts” is finally underway. Well, sort of. The third single from Beyonce‘s pioneering visual album is slowly being added to rhythmic radio stations (not pop or R&B, for some bizarre reason) and the song features prominently in the diva’s blockbuster On The Run tour. There is also a batch of killer remixes to assist in club domination.
Dutch DJ R3hab unveiled his hard house remix of “Pretty Hurts” a couple of weeks ago and now ever-reliable club veteran Tracy Young has overhauled the ballad into a soaring floorfiller. She has a lighter touch (the synths stay pretty and there’s a touch of trance), which works particularly well with the song’s inspirational message. Listen after the endearing remix jump.
