Adam Levine Charms On Solo Track “Lost Stars”: Listen To The ‘Begin Again’ Soundtrack Cut

Adam Levine is a very busy man. In addition to finishing up Maroon 5‘s much-anticipated V album and his mentoring duties on The Voice, the 35-year-old is in full promo mode for his feature film debut. He plays a talented singer/songwriter (not a huge stretch) in Begin Again and also contributes a track called “Lost Stars” to the soundtrack.

“It’s hunting season and the lambs are on the run, searchin’ for meanin’,” sings the Maroon 5 frontman over strummed guitar before arriving at the chorus: “But are we all lost stars trying to light up the dark?” The sparse, acoustic sound suits Adam’s voice surprisingly well — there’s an awesome falsetto run towards the end — and more than enough hooks keep radio happy. Listen after the jump.
