Calling all of our diehard Glamberts! As we already know, Adam Lambert has joined forces with legendary rock group Queen and rocked sold out shows across North America — and he’s also got a rock star wardrobe fit for a king. Adorned in everything from a Swarovski crystal embellished Anthony Franco suit to his own studded fringe jacket, there’s no doubt that Adam not only brought his powerhouse vocals, but also his fashion A-game to the stage.

Kicking off the party in Chicago’s United Center on June 19, the sold out 19-city tour is a true classic rock extravaganza — and also a reminder that Adam definitely has some pretty large expectations to fulfill. Check out what he had to say about the tour after the jump.

“It’s not an easy feat,” Adam tells Rolling Stone. “I think a lot of the apprehension has faded because we’ve done this a number of times in the past couple of years. That’s not to suggest I’m getting cocky at all, because I will never compare to Freddie Mercury. He’s one in a million. At this point, I know how to strike a balance between honoring the way these songs were originally meant to be sung and my own instincts, my own choices.”

Nevertheless, it seems as though the shoes fit, and Adam is customizing them to perfectly cater to his personal strengths as well.
