Robin Thicke’s Twitter Q&A Goes Horribly Wrong: The 10 Most Scathing Tweets

Robin Thicke really can’t win. The “Blurred Lines” hitmaker lost his lady and, it seems, his common sense when he kicked off a Twitter Q&A (#AskThicke) to promote his misguided Paula LP. Instead of being asked questions about the very public musical apology, he was inundated with scathing tweets about his alleged misogyny and stalking.

“If you sang in a forest and nobody was there to hear it would you still sound like a creepy, rapey, pound-shop Justin Timberlake?” inquired one non-fan. While another asked: “do u gel ur hair with the grease from ur own personality?” It all just went downhill from there. Robin’s Paula album gives me severe second-hand embarrassment but if these snarky commentators think he’s the biggest sexist in popular music, they obviously haven’t turned on a radio in the last decade or so. I guess everyone loves an easy target. See the fallout after the jump.

Was this outpouring of hate deserved or misguided? Have your say in the comments, and check out more on Robin Thicke in the video below:
