Robin Thicke’s “Forever Love” Gets A Slammin’ Afrojack Remix: Listen To The Overhauled ‘Paula’ Cut
Robin Thicke‘s musical apology to estranged wife Paula Patton (otherwise known as new LP Paula) has made headlines for all the wrong reasons. The R&B crooner has been accused of stalking the actress, while a Twitter Q&A arranged to promote the album went horribly wrong when commentators took him to task for perceived misogyny.
Amid the ongoing chaos, the music itself has been overlooked. While some of Paula is eyeball-rolling madness, the 37-year-old actually delivers the goods on a couple of tracks. New single “Forever Love” is one such example. The tender ballad deals with his relationship less specifically, which makes it much easier to stomach. The song has now been overhauled by Afrojack and the new club-friendly version is fairly enjoyable dancefloor fodder. Listen after the jump.
