Holly Valance Makes A Surprise Comeback On Andy Clockwise’s “Hopeless”: Listen

Few pop stars have amassed as strong a cult following as Holly Valance. After finding fame on Neighbours (the same soap opera that gave the world Kylie Minogue), the then 19-year-old effortlessly made the transition to dance diva and racked up multiple hits in Australia and the UK with debut LP Footprints. That opus was fun but she raised the bar much higher on sophomore set State Of Mind, which still holds up as near-perfect electro-pop adventure.

Unfortunately, the album bombed (it was ahead of its time!) and the stunning songstress turned her attention back to acting. Now, more than a decade later, Holly returns with a cute feature on Andy Clockwise‘s new single “Hopeless”. She lends her heavenly vocals to the chorus and coos the questionable lyric “put your hands into my car” over ’80s synths. It’s better than it sounds! Listen after the jump.
