Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” Covered By Crosby, Stills, Nash And Jimmy Fallon As Neil Young: Watch

Jimmy Fallon posed as ’70s-era Neil Young to perform alongside folk-rock supergroup Crosby, Stills & Nash on The Tonight Show. Rather than dig into their decades-spanning catalog of David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash, though, the “reunited” four-man group sang a current Hot 100 hit: Iggy Azalea‘s “Fancy.”

Fallon first appeared alone on stage, strumming his acoustic guitar as he sang, “First thing’s first, I’m the realest.” About halfway through, however, stage lights shone to reveal the trio standing next to him, just in time to help with Charli XCX‘s infectious hook. Their cover of “Fancy” recalls the first time that Fallon’s Neil Young impression caught on – when he invited Bruce Springsteen in 2012 to Late Night, to appear as ’70s-era Bruce Springsteen and help cover Willow Smith‘s “Whip My Hair.”

“I saw that. I thought I was really good in that,” Young said to Fallon years later.
