Demi Lovato has lent her voice to Human Rights Campaign in support of marriage equality. “I believe that love comes in all different shapes, sizes and colors – so whether you’re LGBT or straight, your love is valid, beautiful and an incredible gift,” she says in a new video (watch above).

The Demi star’s endorsement appears with a pledge to support marriage equality. It’s also timely – Utah, one of 31 US states banning same-sex marriage, is currently seeking a Supreme Court review for a new ruling. Meanwhile, Lovato has become a vocal supporter for marriage equality over the past few weeks. She filmed her “Really Don’t Care” video during this year’s LA Pride festivities, while serving as the event’s grand marshal. “You don’t have to hate, because my Jesus loves all,” she said to protesters nearby, at the music video’s start.
