Rita Ora Gets Seductive With Her Prince-Penned “The Single Most Amazing”: Listen To A Preview

Those oft-discussed studio sessions between “I Will Never Let You Go” pop chanteuse Rita Ora and His Royal Badness himself Prince are finally starting to see the light of day, beginning with a track called “The Single Most Amazing.”

The Prince-penned jam, which was produced by Josh Welton is featured in a behind-the-scenes clip from the Roberto Cavalli Fall/Winter 2015 campaign.

The song sees the songstress sensuously purring above a throbbing pulse, luxurious guitars and bright horns. “She looked up and there he was, and now she’s firmly distracted/Up and down in fact, because…definitely attracted,” she sings. It’s a fairly less accessibly Top 40 radio-friendly shift in sound for the usually pop-oriented diva (especially considering her latest hit), although her capable chops allow her to be a sonic chameleon and get into slinkier sounds. And who better to do it with than The Purple One?

While Prince teased a track based on the #ThisCouldBeUsButYouPlayin meme on Twitter, it (sadly) doesn’t sound like this is the one. And, lucky for us, there are plenty more collaborations still to come: According to Rap-Up, there’s an “aggressive” rap song in the mix too. Exciting! (Maybe.)
