‘Glee’ Cast Remembers Cory Monteith One Year After His Death
Glee‘s goodbye last year to star Cory Monteith was emotional. In the tribute episode following his death, the McKinley High School student body reacted to the passing of Monteith’s character Finn, as each original cast member sang a song dedicated to him. On July 13, the one-year anniversary of Monteith’s death, members of the Glee cast paid tribute in a similar fashion, by taking a brief moment on Twitter to remember him.
“I personally believe Cory was reborn into some other beautiful form a year ago today. I celebrate him and his life… Wherever that may be,” star Matthew Morrison said. Lea Michele quickly followed suit, by posting two photos of them from when they dated for a year and a half. “We hold you in our hearts today, and every day we remember your smile. We will love you and miss you always,” she said.
