Stumbleine (aka UK-based musician Peter Cooper) started out on his own in 2012 with debut LP Spiderwebbed. A year later he released a collaborative EP with Welsh singer Violet Skies, and this past spring they followed that project up with a full LP together, called Dissolver.

Today Idolator is premiering the gorgeous video for Stumbleine and Violet Skies’ moody Dissolver number “We’re Shadows,” which features school kids floating eerily in a swimming pool and a pair of hooded figures lurking somewhere in the darkness.

“‘We’re Shadows’ is a song about having the strength to walk away from someone who isn’t who you thought they were, and has nothing left to offer you,” Violet Skies tells us. “The visuals Rino Stefano Tagliafierro has set to our song are really stunning and ethereal — it’s always so interesting to see how someone visualises your music when they hear it — everyone sees something different.”
